The Three Peaks Yacht Race ~ June 2015
The Three Peaks Yacht Race is an iconic race - being one of the oldest and multi-sport endurance races in the world, and one that Elin had wanted to do for a long time.
Elin joined forces with professional sailors Pip Hare and Nikki Curwen, and endurance runners Jo Jackson and Lowri Morgan to form the dream team - team aparito!
The five became the first ever all femal team to take line honours and claim The Telegraph Cup in the 39 year history of the race.

You can catch up on the race in this documentary shown on Channel 4.

RORC St Malo race adventure ~ July 2015
After an extremely busy couple of weeks returning from their Arctic adventure and Chris Frost competing in the European Swans Regatta
(and maintain his European Champion title!), both Elin and Chris were exhausted at the start line of 180 miles from Cowes on the Isle of Wight
to St Malo in Brittany, France – but motivated by the idea of fruit de mere and crepes!

With variable winds, and no electronics it was a challenging race with more headsail changes than experienced in previous races.
For Elin it was another massive learning curve, and although slightly disappointing in terms of position in the race both were thrilled to have
completed the race in just over 20 hours 29 minutes and 29 seconds. Only one more race now before the big Fastnet!

Sadly no video for this race!

An Arctic Adventure ~ July 2015
Elin was absolutely thrilled to be invited on an adventure to the Arctic Circle. Sailing in a Bestewind 50 from Tromso on the tip of Norway to
Svalbard, stopping briefly in Bear Island en route. An amazing journey which included 24 hour day light, dolphins, whales and an unique
personal viewing of a polar bear.

RORC Morgan’s Cup race best yet! ~ June 2015

This race saw Chris and Elin race 130 odd miles from Cowes on the Isle of Wight to Guernsey

Now with the addition of powerful new sails, and a bright new pink A2 spinnaker this race saw their best results so far in the season, finishing
5th out of 14 in the double handed class, eight out of 31 in IRC2 and 24th out of 101 overall.

RORC De Guingand Bowl finished ~ June 2015

Elin’s third two-handed attempt saw the pair take on the 130 odd mile race from Cowes on the Isle of Wight to Cherbourg. After a bumping-car like
start line and a difficult initial stretch that saw them drop behind, the pair finally found form and proudly made some ground on the leading pack. A

RORC Myth of Malham drag race ~ May 2015

Elin’s two handed campaign with Chris Frost saw the pair take on 230 miles from Cowes on the Isle of Wight round the Eddystone lighthouse
and back. With very light winds the race was a very challenging one, and saw them suffer badly in wind holes and tidal gates.
For Elin it was a massive learning curve, and although not a huge success in terms of position in the race both were delighted and very much
relieved to complete the race in just over 47 hours, and most importantly to qualify for the Rolex Fastnet race in August.

RORC Cervantes double handed completed ~ May 2015

With experienced sailor Chris Frost Elin ventured on her first two handed sailing race. The course was 135 miles from Cowes on the Isle of
Wight to La Harve in France. In gusts of 20-25 knots the race was the perfect initiation to the competitiveness of the fleet for Elin.
The pair was delighted to complete the race in just over 21 hours, and very pleased of how their J120 boat Nunatak performed.
